Throughout the month of November, the team and members of The Barn Bootcamp will be running a number of charity events in a bid to raise as much money as possible for Men’s Mental Health and Testicular and Prostate Cancer Charity, Movember.
Every week we see hundreds of people walk through these doors week on week, aiming to become a happier and healthier version of themselves.
Although our expertise might be around fitness and nutrition, we know that health extends well beyond training and eating well.
Movember is working to encourage men to stay healthy in all areas of their life, with a focus on men staying socially connected and becoming more open to discussing their health and significant moments in their lives.
The charity’s vision is to have an everlasting impact on the face of men’s health.
Each year, more than 4,300 men die by suicide in the UK, with 3 out of 4 deaths by suicide are men.
Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer amongst men in the UK. One man dies from prostate cancer every 45 minutes in the UK
The Barn Bootcamp wants to support this meaningful cause, in the hope that our efforts might help improve or save the lives of any who may suffer from mental health issues or prostate cancer.
They are going big, and they are going bold.
Not just in the length of our Tashs’…
We want to raise a minimum of £2,500
Our team is so committed to this target that our trainer, Lewis Mcdonald has offered to shave of his blonde locks if we hit £3,000.
Throughout the month of Movember, we have put together a series of events aimed at testing our team, bringing their community closer together and raising as much awareness and money as possible for this worthy cause.
Starting at 8:00 am on Friday, 4th November and running through until 8:00 am on Saturday 5th November.
The team will complete a 20 minute workout, every hour, for 24 hours.
In typical Barn fashion, each workout have been designed to challenge to test our physical and mental fortitude to the limit.

We would love to have you join us for as many workouts as possible to keep us going and give us that push when we need it.
If you can’t take part but still want to be there, coming along and cheering us on, bringing the team drinks and snacks would definitely be appreciated!
The Barn Games has become a resounding success at The Barn amongst members over the last couple of years.
Now we are bringing The Games back, but with a twist!
On Friday, 25th of November The Barn Bootcamp will be hosting our first ‘Battle Of The Trainers’!
Our trainers will captain a team made up of one trainer and four members. Expect fast-paced, head-to-head competitive workouts and a knockout format that proves to spark excitement.
If you’ve not been able to take part, you can sponsor a team.
On The Night…
Once we’ve crowned a Battle of The Trainers Champ we will continue the celebrations.
There will be drinks, a food tuck, music and a guaranteed good vibes with all of our community.
In addition to this, we are hosting a raffle.

What Happens With The Funds?
Movember funds research and supports the implementation of projects, either directly or through partners, in mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
